Speak for Yourself Speech & Language Pathology is the small private clinic of Sebastian Caon-Cook (nee Caon), based in Petrie, QLD.
We provide speech therapy services in our clinic, via telehealth, and mobile speech therapy in the Pine Rivers region.
We are passionate about working with individuals and families with goal focussed evidence based speech & language pathology services.
We provide a range of supports for expressive and receptive language difficulties, such as developmental language disorder.
Support for reading and writing difficulties, including assessment and therapy for phonological processing, reading comprehension and written expression.
Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC)
For people of all ages who may not be able to rely on speech alone to communicate, we find ways to autonomous communication through AAC.
NDIS & Disability
We work a lot in the area of disability and NDIS. We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS consumers across the lifespan to work on their goals.
We work with developing communicators across the lifespan, including early intervention (0-7), school aged children and teens, and young adults.
Therapy to increase clarity of speech for those with speech sound disorders. This includes such as phonological processes and articulation difficulties.
One-on-one neurodiversity affirming supports for people with autism to navigate the social world around them.
